I am a 1996 graduate of Parkview High School in Lilburn, Georgia. I received my undergraduate degree in 2000 from Berry College in Rome, Georgia, where I earned a BS in Middle Grades Education. I earned a masters degree in 2007 from Lesley University in Technology Education. I completed my specialist degree in 2010 from Piedmont College in Teacher Leadership. This is my eleventh year at Ashworth Middle School. This is my eighteenth year in education. I am a ELA teacher here at Ashworth. I have a son who will be ten in September. He is my pride and joy. When I am not teaching, I love playing and spending time with my husband and son. I also love the outdoors, as well as reading, and spending time with my parents and brothers. I love being a part of the Ashworth faculty and community. Over the next 180 days your child and I will spend our time learning to love learning. My Philosophy of Education "All children are gifted...some just open their package sooner than others."
